Position: Clinical Officer
Job Type: Locum

MetroTech Solutions Medical Center is seeking a motivated individual to work as a licensed clinical officer on LOCUM at its clinic in Kantafu, along Kangundo Rd. The successful candidate will provide primary healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education. The clinical officer ensures delivery of quality care and adherence to medical protocols within a fast paced clinical environment. The clinical officer will report to the Medical Center Director.
Key Responsibilities

• • Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments and medications in line with medical guidelines.
  • Refer patients to specialists where necessary and follow up on patient progress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
  • Participate in clinical audits, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are strictly followed.
  • Assist in mentorship of interns and junior clinical staff.
    Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
  • Valid practice license from the Clinical Officers Council.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced healthcare facility.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Patient-focused with strong ethical standards.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
  • Good documentation and computer skills.
